Job description

CNC/Manual Grinder
 
We are seeking an experienced CNC or manual grinder to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in grinding and possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including mechanical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). A strong understanding of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) reports and quality control processes is essential. Experience working with close tolerances and knowledge of heat treatment processes is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain CNC or manual grinding equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical and mechanical drawings.
  • Understand and apply GD&T principles.
  • Review and analyze CMM reports for accuracy and quality.
  • Work with close tolerances to ensure precise parts manufacturing.
  • Ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the grinding process.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues.
  • Utilize knowledge of heat treatment processes for optimal machining.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a CNC or manual grinder.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience with CMM reports and quality control.
