Certified Medication Technician (CMT) – Assisted Living & Memory Care

Join our award-winning team at McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care, where we provide exceptional senior care in a luxury environment. We're hiring Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) who are dependable, professional, and passionate about helping residents live their best lives.

Your Role: Essential Medication Management

As a CMT/Med Tech working your 12-hour shift, you are vital to ensuring top-notch resident care. You will work closely with our RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to:

  • Safely administer all prescribed medications and document administration (following the 5 rights).
  • Maintain meticulous records for all medications, including narcotics and psychotropic drugs.
  • Conduct routine blood sugar testing and complete medication reorders.
  • Provide supportive care to residents with daily living activities (ADLs) as needed.
  • Step into a supervisory role when the Charge Nurse is unavailable.
  • Respond to resident needs and emergencies throughout the full shift with efficiency and urgency.

What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)

To succeed in this CMT role, you will need:

  • A valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Missouri (Required).
  • At least 1 year of CMT experience is preferred (experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus).
  • Commitment to the required 12-hour night shift schedule, from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and compassion.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
