Our Opportunity:

Chewy is growing! We are looking for an Associate Site Merchandising Operations Manager to join our team, based in Boston/Bellevue. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the shopping experience for Chewy customers across some of the highest traffic pages onsite. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for authoring content to the site, developing and driving content playbooks that work at scale and supporting us to deliver consistent, high quality onsite customer experiences.  You’ll establish and guide standard processes and methodologies for content placement and deliver recommendations for actions to improve onsite customer experience. This role requires both technical depth (site merchandising/CMS systems) and strong program management fundamentals (organization, cross-functional alignment, and clear communication). The ideal candidate thrives at connecting data to decisions and ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and with high quality. To be successful in this role, you are a self-starter, critical thinker, organized, meticulous and have a talent for critiquing onsite customer experience and working in fast paced environments. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and author site merchandising content to the Chewy.com site

  • Develop and implement content playbooks for onsite promotions and events

  • Drive a high quality bar for the onsite customer experience through weekly site inspection and quality assurance

  • Partner with Development, Engineering and Analytics teams to define intake requirements for CMS tooling improvements

  • Assist in the program management of CMS content and segmentation testing initiatives in partnership with cross functional teams.

  • Use data management, analytics, and reporting to share weekly site performance and inform content standard and site programming methodologies

What You’ll Need:

  • College degree in business-related field 2-4 year’s work experience, with 1+ years in ecommerce

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally

  • Demonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization

  • Experience collaborating with Creative teams to develop onsite content

  • Experience in e-commerce back-end operations and Google Analytics

Bonus (if applicable):

  • Familiarity with SQL and advanced Excel capabilities

  • Experience using AI to automate site operational processes

The base salary range for this role is $87,000 - $130,000.00.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
