Job description

Role description:

The Asset Reliability and CMMS Manager is responsible for the strategic ownership, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to support asset reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and data‑driven decision‑making. This role ensures the CMMS is aligned with reliability best practices, supports preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and provides accurate, actionable data for maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.

The position serves as the primary liaison between Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, Operations, IT, and external vendors to ensure asset data integrity, standardized processes, and consistent system usage across the organization. This position develops and sustains the Continuous Vibration Monitoring and CMMS Systems in line with the required industry standards and business requirements across the organization. The Asset Reliability and CMMS Manager develops and guides the organization in our next generation of root cause analysis tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the CMMS, including system configuration, data standards, workflows, and user access
  • Establish CMMS governance, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent use across all sites
  • Lead CMMS upgrades, enhancements, and system integrations (ERP, MES, condition monitoring, inventory)
  • Act as the primary liaison between Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, IT, and CMMS vendors
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize continuous vibration monitoring and CMMS systems to support reliability strategies
  • Ensure asset data accuracy, standardized maintenance processes, and system integrity
  • Support preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs
  • Partner with operations and engineering to improve equipment reliability and resolve recurring failures
  • Analyze asset performance, including utilization, OEE, remaining useful life, and maintenance costs
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support spare parts and inventory harmonization through CMMS alignment
  • Develop and monitor reliability KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Lead site reliability efforts using data-driven approach
  • Mentor and guide reliability and engineering resources supporting 24/7 operations
  • Support CAPEX long-range planning and risk management related to asset reliability
  • Promote reliability, safety, quality, and continuous improvement culture across the organization

Minimum skills / qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with five (5) years of relevant experience OR ten (10) years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in maintenance or engineering in an industrial environment
  • Prior CMMS experience
  • Knowledge and experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, ability to influence, coach and develop colleagues not in a reporting relationship 
  • Ability to influence others and create immediate action
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

  • FIIX CMMS Software
  • ATS – Asset Watch Vibration Monitoring
  • Prior experience in the glass manufacturing industry
