CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Position Overview:

Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector to join their Quality team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that precision components meet strict aerospace standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CMM operation, programming (MODUS software preferred), and a strong understanding of quality inspection processes.

Description

Set up, operate, and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using MODUS software

Develop and edit inspection programs to support production and first article inspections (FAI)

Perform dimensional inspections on complex aerospace components to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications

Interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical documentation

Collaborate closely with the Quality and Engineering teams to resolve non-conformance issues

Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality and consistency

Analyze measurement data and generate detailed inspection reports

Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality and inspection processes

Maintain calibration and ensure proper functioning of CMM equipment

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
