Title: ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB Specialist Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow professional to join our team as a CSDM and CMDB Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the ServiceNow CSDM framework and CMDB to ensure accurate and reliable data for IT service management processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement the ServiceNow CSDM framework to align with organizational goals and objectives. 2. Configure and customize the CMDB to accurately represent the configuration items (CIs) and their relationships within the IT environment. 3. Develop and maintain data governance processes to ensure the integrity and quality of CSDM and CMDB data. 4. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and the business to understand data requirements and map them to the CSDM and CMDB. 5. Define and implement CI classes, attributes, and relationships in accordance with best practices and industry standards.6. Conduct regular audits and assessments of the CSDM and CMDB to identify and remediate data discrepancies and inconsistencies. 7. Provide guidance and training to IT staff on CSDM and CMDB concepts, processes, and best practices. 8. Work closely with ServiceNow administrators and developers to integrate the CSDM and CMDB with other ServiceNow modules and applications. 9. Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and new features and recommend enhancements to optimize the CSDM and CMDB. 10. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve IT service delivery and support organizational objectives.
