- Administering and accurately recording the administration of medication

- Collecting samples for testing and monitoring food and liquid input/output

- Routinely inspecting, cleaning, and monitoring equipment and supplies to ensure safety

- Responding to patient call signals, signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine patient needs

- Conducting medication reconciliation, maintaining medication cart inventory, and restocking

- Responsible for documentation of medications in the Medication Administration Record (MAR)

- Performing and recording vital signs
