Expediter/Food Runner

Location: Brookside Country Club of Allentown Macungie, PA
Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time
Pay: $10-$14 (based on experience) + Service Pool

Brookside Country Club is a private club known for exceptional dining experiences and top-tier
service. We take pride in delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced elegant, yet casual
environment. We are currently seeking a Food Runner/Expediter to join our front/back of
house team and ensure smooth, timely service to our members and guests.


Job Responsibilities


Communicate efficiently with chefs, servers, and other team members to keep service
running smoothly.
Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure food is delivered
promptly and correctly.
Garnish and finalize plated dishes before they leave the kitchen.
Ensure orders are complete, correct, and meet presentation standards.
Assist with stocking and maintaining an organized expo line.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area.
Handle special requests and dietary accommodations with attention to detail.
Assist the back/front of house, with any prep work and/or side work needed for the day.


Qualifications

Previous experience (1 yr.) as a food runner, expediter, or in a fast-paced
restaurant/kitchen setting is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Positive attitude and a passion for great food and service.
Must be able to stand for extended periods, and lift up to 55 lbs. Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
