Job description

Description:

About the Role

Imagine arriving to work each day at one of the most extraordinary private clubs in Texas โ€” where Members know your name, your team is your family, and no two days are ever the same.

Escondido Golf & Lake Club sits in the heart of the Texas Hill Country on the shores of Lake LBJ, where Mediterranean architecture, world-class golf, and genuine Hill Country warmth come together in something truly one-of-a-kind. As Club Concierge, you are at the very center of it all โ€” the face Members see, the voice they trust, and the expert they rely on for a full "Escondido Experience" at the Club.

What You'll Do

Member Experience

  • Welcome every Member and guest with genuine warmth and make the first impression a lasting one
  • Become the Club's ultimate insider โ€” the go-to for dining, events, amenities, and everything in between
  • Manage reservations for dining, cabanas, water sports, and transportation with precision and care
  • Anticipate needs before they're expressed and resolve concerns before they become problems
  • Keep the front desk polished, welcoming, and running seamlessly every single day

Club Operations

  • Produce the Daily Report โ€” the team's morning briefing on lodging, events, dining, and more
  • Maintain Member profiles and directory in Jonas Club Management Software
  • Greet prospective Members and realtors; champion the Escondido experience from the first handshake
  • Collaborate with the Director of Member Experience and Events team to bring every occasion to life

Lodging Program

  • Own all bookings for our exclusive collection of member-owned luxury Golf Cottages and Villas โ€” from first inquiry to checkout
  • Serve as the trusted liaison between homeowners and their guests, protecting both the property and the relationship
  • Conduct personal check-ins and check-outs that make every arrival feel like an arrival, not a transaction
  • Be the first call when issues arise, resolving them swiftly and gracefully so guests leave wanting to return
  • Handle all contracts, billing, invoicing, and homeowner communications with accuracy and professionalism

Requirements:

Who We're Looking For

You are warm, organized, and quietly unflappable. You love people, take pride in the details, and hold yourself to a higher standard because it's simply who you are. You think ahead, communicate with grace, and find genuine joy in making someone's experience feel effortless.

You Areโ€ฆ

  • A natural connector who lights up in a service environment
  • Deeply organized with multiple priorities in the air at once
  • Curious and eager โ€” excited to become the Club's go-to expert
  • Calm and gracious under pressure, even when it's complicated
  • Proactive โ€” you anticipate needs and act before you're asked

You Bringโ€ฆ

  • Experience in hospitality, a private club, hotel, or high-end service environment
  • Strong administrative skills: scheduling, billing, and correspondence
  • Confident, professional communication โ€” written and in person
  • Tech comfort; we'll train you on Jonas Club Management Software
  • Availability Wednesdayโ€“Sunday, with flexibility for holidays and events

Why Escondido

This isn't just a beautiful place to work โ€” it's a community where your contributions are seen, valued, and celebrated. You'll be part of a close-knit team that takes pride in delivering something truly extraordinary every day.
