Job description

If your answer is YES, then Farmington Country Club presents an exciting opportunity for you to join our Youth Activities team as a Childcare Attendant! Our Kids Club Assistants are responsible for the daily operation of the Kids Club, including but not limited to planning programs and activities for children and leading them in structured activities.
What Youll Do:
  • Work with Kids Club Assistants to develop, implement, and supervise developmentally appropriate programs (e.g., art, music, reading, and games);
  • Communicate with parents regarding needs and preferences specific to their children;
  • Set up Kids Club in a timely manner;
  • Maintain daily reservation logs and sign-in sheets;
  • Prepare play and learning materials;
  • Assist children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating, and sleeping;
  • Adherence to and enforcement of Club and departmental safety standards and procedures

Qualifications:
  • Possession of or ability to obtain Infant/Child First Aid and CPR Certifications;
  • Prior experience in childcare or related field is preferred;
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds;
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
