SUMMARY
The Club Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while creating a warm, refined, and highly personalized experience for members and guests. This position plays a key role in fostering the Club's welcoming atmosphere by anticipating member needs, recognizing preferences, and providing polished, attentive service that reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club recipes, presentation standards, and service expectations
  • Provide personalized, anticipatory service by recognizing members and guests, remembering preferences, and fostering meaningful member connections
  • Maintain expert knowledge of beverage menus, wine lists, specialty cocktails, spirits, beers, and current club offerings
  • Confidently recommend pairings, specialty cocktails, and featured selections to enhance the member experience
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service and verify identification in accordance with all state and local laws
  • Maintain a pristine, organized, and polished bar and lounge environment at all times
  • Complete bar setup and breakdown procedures to ensure readiness for seamless service
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs proactively to leadership
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, rotating, and maintaining beverage inventory to preserve quality standards
  • Accurately process member charges and reconcile tabs in accordance with club accounting procedures
  • Support tournaments, member events, private functions, and special programming with exceptional execution and attention to detail
  • Collaborate closely with service staff, culinary teams, and club leadership to deliver seamless, elevated service
  • Address member questions or concerns promptly, professionally, and discreetly; escalate when appropriate
  • Uphold all club service standards, appearance expectations, and operational policies
  • Continuously seek opportunities to elevate service and create memorable member moments

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous bartending experience required; private club, luxury resort, fine dining, or upscale hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and premium spirits
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presence
  • Strong hospitality instincts with the ability to anticipate and exceed member expectations
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-service environment
  • Accuracy in handling member transactions and POS systems
  • Current alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Commitment to discretion, professionalism, and personalized member service

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

SCHEDULE
Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and club events, based on business needs.
