Job description

Job Summary:
Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe. They are seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support enterprise service providing software security solutions for customer enclaves.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software solutions
• Solve complex technical challenges with a focus on reliability and performance
• Lead or contribute to architecture and design reviews
• Support integration, testing, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
• Help shape project scope, schedules, and technical approaches
• Collaborate individually and within the team to review, test, and refine software components
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development/engineering, including: Requirements analysis, Software development, Installation and integration, Evaluation, Enhancement, Maintenance, Testing, Problem diagnosis and resolution
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field plus five (5) years of experience
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
• DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification (Security+ or higher) is required
• One of the following additional certifications is required: AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Elastic Certified Engineer
Preferred:
• Pig scripting
• UI development background with a focus in AngularJS
