Position Overview:


The Closing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mortgage closing process to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant loan closings. This role requires strong operational management, regulatory compliance expertise, and effective stakeholder coordination.  


Key Responsibilities:


Producer (P) - Execution & Delivery

  • Manage and monitor all closing activities to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Review and approve closing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly to avoid closing delays.

Administrator (A) - Structure & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company regulations throughout the closing process.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized closing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails for all transactions.

Entrepreneur (E) - Innovation & Adaptability

  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes and market trends, adapting processes as needed.

Integrator (I) - Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and clients to ensure smooth closing.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with all stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain trust.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Minimum 5 years in mortgage operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills 
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities 
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulations and processes 
  • Proficiency in mortgage processing software and MS Office Suite.

Travel:

  • As needed travel internationally between United States and Mexico to meet business needs. 

Language:

  • English preferred, Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) desired.

Compensation:

  • PMG will offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with the background and experience of the applicant.
