This role offers a flexible work environment, allowing you to tailor your schedule to best meet the needs of your clients and the school community we serve. With a remote setting, you can effectively reach students and families throughout Fort Worth while eliminating geographic barriers to mental health care. You will utilize teletherapy platforms to engage with patients, ensuring convenience and privacy in your interactions.

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, tailored to the unique contexts of students within school settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, focusing on their specific needs, academic goals, and cultural backgrounds.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) for individuals, families, and groups.
• Provide crisis intervention services and work with other healthcare professionals and educators to facilitate continuity of care, particularly for students experiencing acute mental health crises.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with clinic policies and educational regulatory guidelines, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Empower patients and families through psychoeducation, equipping them with strategies to manage mental health conditions and promote wellness.
• Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team of educators, psychologists, and medical professionals to create a comprehensive support network for students.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and adapt intervention methods to enhance effectiveness based on ongoing evaluations.
• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in mental health to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information rigorously.

You will primarily engage with students ranging from elementary to high school age, addressing a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress related to academic pressures. Your work will not only impact individual students but will also support families and the broader school community by fostering a culture of mental health awareness and support.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
• An active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also being an effective team player within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Experience working in school settings, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Knowledge of specific mental health issues commonly faced by students, with an emphasis on culturally responsive practices.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems to streamline service delivery and maintain stakeholder engagement.
