Job Description
This is an advanced professional, administrative and construction management position responsible for managing capital improvement, renovation, and maintenance projects for the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Building and Grounds Department. The Project Manager oversees all phases of planning, design, procurement, and construction to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high quality project delivery. The position also supports operational improvements in preventive maintenance, facility condition assessments, and long range infrastructure planning. Work includes managing consultant and contractor performance, enforcing compliance with Tribal standards and coordinating with multiple stakeholders with an emphasis on customer service. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required. A minimum of five (5) years progressively responsible experience in the construction management or facilities project management field is required. Prior experience in public-sector or tribal government project delivery preferred. Certification such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or LEED Accredited Professional are preferred. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel across reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
