Overview

If you’re an experienced therapist who wants to grow as a leader while making a meaningful impact on patients, clinicians, and your community—this is it.

In this role, you’ll lead a talented therapy team serving the adult and geriatric population, helping create an environment where therapists feel supported, patients receive exceptional care, and clinical outcomes remain the priority.

Whether you’re an experienced Rehab Director or a clinician ready to take the next step into therapy leadership, you’ll have the support, mentorship, and resources to grow. You won’t be expected to figure everything out on your own. You’ll partner with experienced operational and clinical leaders who are invested in helping you succeed.

Here’s your opportunity to build your leadership skills while staying connected to what brought you into therapy in the first place—helping people achieve greater independence and a better quality of life.

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is a trusted therapy provider dedicated to delivering high-quality rehabilitation services while creating environments where clinicians and leaders feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow.

Why This Director of Rehabilitation Role Stands Out

  • Grow as a leader with ongoing mentorship, training, and support from experienced therapy and operational leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a collaborative team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, PTAs, and COTAs
  • Make a direct impact on patient outcomes, employee engagement, and the overall success of your team and rehab department
  • Maintain your connection to patient care while developing valuable clinical leadership and management experience
  • Enjoy the support and resources of an established therapy organization while leading your rehab team at the local level
  • Build meaningful relationships with patients, families, nursing staff, facility leadership, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Join a therapist-driven organization that values clinical excellence, professional development, work-life balance, and internal career growth

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the facility’s rehabilitation therapy program
  • Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary therapy team while creating a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Help clinicians deliver personalized, patient-centered rehabilitation focused on independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life
  • Partner with facility leadership, nursing, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes and continuity of care
  • Support therapist development through coaching, mentorship, communication, and ongoing clinical guidance
  • Oversee therapy operations, including staffing, scheduling, productivity, clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and program performance
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow rehabilitation services while maintaining a strong focus on quality patient care
  • Monitor patient and program outcomes and collaborate with your team to continuously improve the rehabilitation experience
  • Foster a culture where therapists feel supported, valued, accountable, and empowered to succeed
  • Serve as a trusted partner to facility leadership while advocating for both patients and the therapy team
