Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Huntsville, AL Flexible Weekday Hoursย Come join our compassionate, collaborative outpatient clinic team delivering behavioral health services to pediatric patients. You'll work closely with medical providers to support whole-person care and help improve outcomes for children and families. This primarily on-site role includes occasional travel between nearby clinic locations keeping your work both meaningful and varied.Competitive Salaryย DOEFull-time & Part Time Schedules Available - Clinic Hours M - Th, 8 - 5 & Fri 8 - noon

Qualifications:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution

  • Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Alabama

  • Proficiency with EHR systems and documentation

Your Responsibilities will Include:

Direct Patient Care

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments & develop individualized care plans

  • Provide short-term, solution-focused counseling and behavioral interventions

  • Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning as needed

  • Support patients with chronic disease management through behavioral health strategies

  • Facilitate referrals to community resources, mental health services, housing, or substance use treatment

Care Coordination & Provider Support

  • Work closely with primary care providers, nursing staff, and case managers to coordinate patient care

  • Serve as a liaison between patients and external support agencies

  • Participate in daily huddles, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings

  • Assist providers in identifying behavioral health concerns and social determinants of health impacting treatment adherence

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain timely and accurate electronic health record (EHR), Athena, documentation in compliance with FQHC and state/federal regulations

  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and ethical standards in all interactions

Program Development (Optional/Future Growth)

  • Contribute to program planning and quality improvement initiatives related to behavioral health integration

  • Assist in staff training related to trauma-informed care and social services
