Job description

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is the largest network of Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers and a national leader in opioid addiction treatment services. With over 116locations across 24 states, we serve more than 42,000 patients through evidence-based, compassionate care.

We are seeking a high-energy, mission-driven recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This position plays a key role in supporting our treatment centers by hiring essential staff such as counselors, nurses, and clinical support roles. You’ll manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned field locations, working closely with local leadership to ensure we’re bringing in the best talent to serve our patients.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years of high-volume, full-cycle recruiting experience - preferably within healthcare or behavioral health environments. You thrive in fast-paced settings, enjoy connecting with people, and can manage multiple open roles across various sites with ease. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Candidate Management:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for field-based roles including counselors, nurses, and support staff.

  • Partner with hiring leaders at treatment centers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.

  • Post jobs, proactively source candidates, screen applicants, and present qualified candidates.

  • Schedule interviews, gather feedback, and manage a smooth, timely hiring process.

  • Extend offers and facilitate pre-hire steps in coordination with HR and onboarding teams.

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Building:

  • Actively source passive candidates using job boards, referrals, social media, and local networking.

  • Build pipelines for high-demand clinical roles in anticipation of ongoing hiring needs.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with prospects to keep them engaged.

Collaboration & Compliance:

  • Serve as a recruiting partner to hiring managers, offering guidance on market trends and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate and timely data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other systems.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2+ years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience required.

  • Experience hiring in healthcare, addiction treatment, or human services is strongly preferred.

  • Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills.

  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in using ATS platforms and recruiting tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Why Join BHG?

  • Work-Life Balance: Generous PTO, holidays, and flexible scheduling with no nights or Sundays.

  • Professional Growth: Tuition reimbursement, licensure support, and internal career advancement.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with match.

  • Incentives & Recognition: Competitive pay, quarterly bonuses, and meaningful impact.

  • Supportive Culture: Team-oriented, mission-driven environment where your work truly matters.

At BHG, we know that exceptional care begins with exceptional people. If you're ready to help us make a difference in communities affected by substance use, we’d love to hear from you.
