Job description
The Clinical Program Manager provides leadership for two essential clinical programs at Children's Hospital Colorado: The Burn Program and the Trauma Program Registry and Administrative team. This unique role combines clinical program leadership with operational management, supporting multidisciplinary teams that advance high-quality pediatric burn and trauma care across the organization.
Children's Hospital Colorado is home to two trauma centers: the Anschutz Medical Campus, an American College of Surgeons (ACS) Level I Verified Pediatric Trauma Center, and CHCO Colorado Springs Hospital, a Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) designated Level II Trauma Center.
Within the Trauma Program, the Clinical Program Manager oversees the Trauma Registry and Administrative team, including trauma registrars, the Senior Management Analyst, and the Trauma Program Coordinator. The role is responsible for registry operations, trauma data management and analysis, and oversight of Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) data submission and reporting to the ACS.
Within the Burn Program, the Clinical Program Manager provides programmatic and clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary burn team, including nurses, medical assistants, and injury prevention staff. In partnership with the Burn Medical Director, the manager leads program development, advances evidence-based practice, supports regulatory and accreditation readiness, and drives continuous improvement in burn patient outcomes across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
