Clinical Lead / Director of Clinical Operations

Job Summary:

At HireCare Services - Rhode Island, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare operations through a collaborative and patient-centered approach. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead / Director of Clinical Operations to join our team at HireCare. As a key member of our leadership team, the successful candidate will oversee clinical performance, support nursing leadership, and ensure the facility remains survey-ready at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure high-quality resident care

  • Support and mentor Unit Managers, nurses, and clinical staff

  • Monitor care plans, documentation, assessments, incidents, and changes in resident condition

  • Lead ongoing preparation for state and federal government surveys

  • Conduct mock surveys, audits, chart reviews, and compliance rounds

  • Develop and implement corrective action plans when deficiencies are identified

  • Ensure compliance with CMS, Department of Public Health, and facility standards

  • Assist with staff education, quality improvement, infection control, and risk management

  • Work closely with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Current Massachusetts RN license required

  • Nursing home or long-term care leadership experience required

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and the survey process

  • Experience with audits, plans of correction, and clinical quality improvement

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
