Paradigmworks Group Inc. & the Hartford Job Corps Center is seeking a full-time instructor to teach Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) program to students aged 16-24. Curriculum includes EKG, phlebotomy, medical terminology, and more. Prepare students for tests and for the types of experiences that they might encounter working in the wellness field. Work with them on developing strong organizational skills, case-noting, ensuring accuracy, and discretion. Must be professional, highly organized, willing to go the extra mile to ensure students learn. Able to explain complex ideas, integrate math and reading into the curriculum. Credentialed in a medical field. College or trade school graduate. CMA experience and previous classroom experience. Shift: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm. Salary in mid-$70s range.
