Manager, Laboratory Services
Location: Wildomar, CA
Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead our partner's clinical laboratory operations in Wildomar, CA. You will supervise a team of Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) and Lab Assistants, ensuring efficient day-to-day functions, adherence to all protocols, and compliance with institutional, industry, and federal regulations (TJC, Client, CLIA '88).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily laboratory operations, staffing, and workflow management.
  • Ensure technical accuracy, quality control, and ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Manage departmental resources effectively to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Foster staff development, teamwork, and maintain high standards of service.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS).
  • Minimum three (3) years of leadership/management experience in a clinical laboratory (acute care experience preferred).
  • Meets State of California (Client, Laboratory Field Services) educational requirements for CLS licensure (active CA CLS license highly preferred).
