Job description

Job Title: RN - Cardiovascular (Cardiovascular & Electrophysiology Lab)
Location: Dover, DE
Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Shift & Schedule: Variable Shifts | 80 Hours Biweekly | On-Call Rotation Required

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular & Electrophysiology Lab for an exciting opportunity in Dover, DE.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patient care and procedure areas prior to scheduled procedures
  • Review patient charts, lab results, and documentation prior to procedures
  • Prepare and educate patients for cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures
  • Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care and patient monitoring
  • Administer procedural sedation according to hospital policies
  • Document patient care and procedures within EMR systems
  • Independently circulate procedures within the Cath Lab and EP Lab
  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, EP studies, ablations, pacemaker/ICD procedures, TAVR, and other cardiovascular procedures
  • Operate and assist with specialized cardiology and electrophysiology equipment
  • Maintain a safe and patient-centered care environment

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required OR graduate of an accredited Nursing Diploma program
  • BSN required within 36 months of hire if not already obtained
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • ICU, CVICU, IMC, or Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with procedural sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Strong cardiovascular nursing knowledge
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-acuity procedural environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous RN experience in a Cardiovascular or Electrophysiology Lab
  • Cath Lab experience highly preferred
  • Experience with structural heart procedures and electrophysiology procedures
