Responsible for identifying potential and existing drug related problems and taking appropriate actions to prevent or resolve them. Serves as the medication expert on the health care team and takes an active role in the care of patients. Provides education to the community, other health care providers, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy residents. Education & Leadership
  • Serve as a pharmacy resource for healthcare teams, patients, and families.
  • Support the development and training of pharmacy employees, students, residents, and interns.
  • Provide educational presentations, projects, or in-services annually.
  • Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education, clinical literature, and national guidelines.
Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Partner with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

QualificationsRequired Education
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Staff Pharmacist experience
Licensure
  • Current Missouri Pharmacist License
Certifications
  • Missouri Board of Pharmacy Medication Therapy Services Certificate within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS certification (or required internal competency modules) within 6 months of hire
