Our client is seeking to add a Project Manager to their team for a long-term project. Below are the requirements. Please review and apply if you are a fit.

This is a remote W2-only position. C2C candidates will not be entertained.

Project Manager will support the Rural Health Transformation Plan (RHTP). Client?s RHTP launches five interrelated initiatives designed to build rural health infrastructure and provide sustainable, long-term improvements. This plan directly supports Client?s rural counties while advancing statewide impact through innovation, technology-enabled care, and strengthened workforce recruitment pipelines for both clinical and non-clinical staff. This position is responsible for providing project management and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, organizing, and managing all phases of the project.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, resource assignments, and budgets.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Coordinate project activities among business stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, infrastructure, security, and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committee meetings, status meetings, and executive briefings.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure contractual deliverables are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
  • Track project budget, invoices, procurement activities, and contract deliverables.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports and communicate project health to management.
  • Ensure compliance with Client, CABINET, DHSS, and OATS project management standards and SDLC processes.
  • Coordinate release planning, testing activities, production deployments, and post-implementation support.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues before they impact the project schedule.


Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale Information Technology projects.
  • Experience managing Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid software development projects.
  • Experience facilitating business requirements sessions with executive leadership and business users.
  • Experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements, Use Cases, User Stories, and Process Flow diagrams.
  • Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and change management.
  • Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Experience managing software vendors and contractual deliverables.
  • Experience reviewing technical and functional documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar project management and work management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with business and technical teams.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing Digital Transformation initiatives.
  • Experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes.
  • Prior experience supporting Client or other State Government agencies.
  • Prior experience supporting public health or healthcare information systems.
  • Experience managing projects involving vendor-developed cloud solutions and Software?s as a Service (SaaS).
