Description
At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in 7 areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We also offer unique services like our ambulatory surgery center and nuclear stress testing facility.
We are seeking to add a Clinical Assistant to our team in Pikesville! Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a team environment, be flexible, and detail oriented. The Clinical Assistant provides administrative support to a team of Certified Medical Assistants and healthcare providers at a specific site.
Location: 1838 Greene Tree Road, Pikesville, MD 21208
Shifts: Monday - Friday (Day Shift only)
Part Time / 20 hours per week
The Clinical Assistant will perform a variety of administrative tasks up to and including:
• Scanning forms, diagnostic test results, and other correspondence into the appropriate category of each patient's chart within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Completing the full scope of the prior authorization process for medications and diagnostic testing.
• Sending normal lab result letters to patients.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to convey a positive attitude and project a professional image.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of general medical office procedures preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills/ EMR systems preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
