Job description

General Information:
Job title: Clinic Nurse Coordinator
Location: Mile Bluff Clinic - Mauston, WI
Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; Monday - Friday.
Weekend rotation: No weekends
Holiday rotation: Paid holidays
Position Summary:
The Clinic Nurse Coordinator position is responsible for the organization and coordination of the clinic, as well as providing direct patient care.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Go-to resource for clinic patient care staff, including helping with onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Help coordinate and be go-to resource for new hire employee health processes for all MBMC staff, including physicals, immunizations and TB tests.
  • Coordinate daily activities related to the clinic, ensuring tasks are completed in compliance with established protocols.
  • Monitor quality and accuracy of work output in the clinic area, providing feedback or corrective guidance as needed.
  • Work with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Ensure the tracking and requesting of supplies, equipment or materials specific to the clinic.
  • Assist with audits, inspections or surveys related to the clinic.
  • Assist with competency check off for staff.
  • Help resolve issues with provider schedules.
  • Provide patient care.
  • Act as a provider liaison.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Position Requirements:
  • Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree preferred.
  • Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • 3+ years of related work experience in a similar role preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Intermediate proficiency with computers is required
  • Comprehensive nursing skills and direct patient care experience required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
