Full Time (.9 FTE, 72 hours every pay period)

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process when assisting with the delivery of primary health care and patient care management in the clinic setting. The R.N. performs a wide variety of patient care activities including documentation within the medical record. The R.N. utilizes nursing skills when assessing and triaging patients and recommending follow-up care. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with nursing practice, clinic policies and observance of confidentiality of patient information.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation of an accredited R.N. program.

  • Two years medical experience preferred.

  • Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.

  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 60 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. (See Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Policy).
