Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time AI Fellow to join our team in a part-time capacity. This position is more than a job - it's an opportunity to shape the future of AI, molding our portfolio companies into global leaders in the AI space. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with experienced researchers and engineers, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking AI solutions. What you'll do:
  • Define and lead AI initiatives within our portfolio companies, working closely with founders and tech teams.
  • Oversee the application of AI technologies across multiple platforms and products.
  • Share knowledge and insights through regular presentations, workshops, and collaboration sessions with venture and portfolio teams.
  • Advise on best frameworks and tools for our portfolio companies to create solutions.
  • Advise our executive team on AI strategy, risks, opportunities, and investments.
  • Maintain a strong network in the global AI community, staying informed of the latest research and developments.

Some expertise you may have:
  • Product Development Experience: full product development and bringing cutting edge AI products, platforms, and services to market
  • Technical Development: Expertise in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and others. Strong programming full stack skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in implementing machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying AI solutions at scale.
  • Familiarity with AI model optimization, including hyperparameter tuning, model evaluation, and performance benchmarking.
  • Major plus will be experience with assessing tech readiness in AI projects using commonly used frameworks like TRL, AI Maturity Models, Model Validation Frameworks, SAFE AI, IEEE, IRL.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
