Head of Engineering (Full-Stack/Data), $200,000-250,000, Chicago (with flex)

Lead Engineering Manager sought for a fast-growth Energy/Climate AI startup who are growing their Eng team out. We are looking for a Lead Engineering Manager who can lead and scale a high-performing engineering team and you will have the opportunity to own technical strategy and product priorities, working closely with C-Level. This is a really exciting opportunity to lead and grow a team within a high-impact company.

The Head of Eng will be managing and growing the engineering team, owning engineering execution, delivery and testing. You will be focused on growing out the team whilst still guiding technically and focusing on execution of projects.

This role is offering up to $250K + many other benefits.

The Lead Engineering Manager will ideally have:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including strong IC experience.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams at a high-growth startup.
  • Experience building highly used products and interacting with users
  • Previous leadership background - EM, Senior EM, Head of Eng etc.
  • Experience with the following tech stack - React, Python, Postgres, Snowflake, AWS and an interest to work in the energy/climate space
