 Full-Time & PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) – In-House Rehab Team! 

Location: Hartsville, TN

Position: Full-Time (FT), PRN

Setting: In-House Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist who loves working with the geriatric population but is tired of unrealistic productivity metrics and endless corporate red tape? 

At Hartsville Rehab and Healthcare, we do things differently. We are proud to operate a 100% in-house therapy department. That means you work directly for our facility, collaborating closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team that prioritizes true client success over corporate quotas. Come build meaningful relationships with your patients and actually enjoy going to work! 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

As our full-time OT, you will be the driving force behind helping our residents regain their independence and confidently transition back to their daily lives. 

  • Evaluate & Treat: Develop and implement highly individualized care plans focused on restoring function in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). 
  • Innovate: Utilize evidence-based practices for cognitive rehabilitation, vision therapy, and adaptive equipment training to maximize patient autonomy and community integration. 
  • Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with our COTAs, PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff to ensure a seamless, patient-centered approach to rehab. 
  • Educate: Empower patients, families, and facility staff with strategies to support long-term recovery and safe transitions. 
  • Document: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines. 

What You Bring to the Table: 

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. 
  • Licensure: Active (or pending) state OT license in TN. 
  • Certification: NBCOT certification is required. 
  • Experience: Previous experience in a SNF or adult rehab setting is a plus, but a collaborative mindset and passion for patient care are what matter most. 
  • Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
