Job Title: Senior Account Executive

Industry: Professional Services

Location (city, state): Arlington, VA

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $90,000 – $95,000 base salary (depending on experience) plus quarterly performance bonus

Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule. Monday and Friday work from home. Tuesday through Thursday in office. Standard business hours, approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive membership growth and build relationships with senior-level executives and decision-makers. This position focuses on consultative sales and strategic relationship management, helping organizations connect with valuable leadership resources and professional networks.

The ideal candidate will bring strong client engagement skills, a consultative approach to sales, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with executive-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to proposal development and closing

• Conduct consultative conversations to understand client priorities and recommend tailored solutions

• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and key decision-makers

• Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline tracking through CRM systems

• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing and client success to support client engagement and retention

• Stay informed on market trends and industry developments to enhance client conversations

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in consultative B2B sales or account executive roles

• Experience selling into professional services, research, advisory, or membership-based environments preferred

• Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and building executive-level relationships

• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

• Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
