Job description

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a Strategy Analyst to provide the necessary subject matter expertise and assist AMC/A3 in communicating all approved AMC/A3 corporate capabilities-based requirements. They will assist as requested in defining the strategic view for all levels of AMC/MAF C2 and Operations, Organizational Design, Mission/Flight Planning, Air to Ground Connectivity, Net-Centric Connectivity of all MAF assets, as well as integration, modernization, and interoperability of AMC/MAF and C2 processes, procedures, and systems.
Responsibilities
  • Provide functional, technical, and analytical support to develop the AMC/MAF operational mission and C2-focused vision.
  • Provide synchronization, integration, 618 AOC and Air Force Forces (AFFOR)functional area management support, and interoperability of MAF-centric and AMC C2 systems.
  • Develop and evaluate plans, goals, and objectives for implementation of AMC programs.
  • Provide technical SME support for MAF C2 planning and requirements.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations regarding potential modifications to systems and programs.
  • Serve as a command technical expert and focal point for air transportation C2 operations policies, plans and requirements.
  • Analyze recommended modifications to systems and programs around doctrine, tactics, and concepts of operations that track Air Force, OSD, and joint planning documents.
  • Assist in all phases of the Requirements process including the development and review of AF Form 1067s, ICDs, CDDs, and IS ICDs.
  • Incorporate all required regulations, such as, strategic C2 instructions, guidance, and operational concepts, as well as doctrines developed/published by other MAJCOMs, USAF, COCOMs, JCS, DoD, and other Governmental agencies.
  • Provide inputs, suggest edits, and/or recommendations as defined within respective staffing packages.
  • Ensure alignment/compliance with related lateral and higher echelon instructions, guidance, and policy.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in C2 including leadership roles in systems analysis and design, conversion and implementation support, project management, data/records management, resources management, or database planning and design.
  • Working with critical components of military planning such as JOPES, DCAPES, and UTC's.
  • Additional experience and knowledge of C2 and Knowledge Management systems (e.g., GDSS, ACFP, GATES).
  • Additional experience in budget management and administration as well as preparing/transmitting periodic reports using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiar with AMC and Joint doctrine, tactics, and concepts of operations.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret SCI security clearance.
