Position Summary
The Client Services Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing commercial plumbing projects while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational excellence, financial performance, and team development. This role serves as the primary point of contact between Precision Plumbing, clients, general contractors, field teams, vendors, and design professionals. Clients Services is Precision Plumbing's commercial upfit and remodel division. The scale of projects ranges up to $1,000,000.
The ideal candidate has extensive commercial plumbing or commercial construction experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial plumbing construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and resources to support project execution.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Track project budgets, labor productivity, costs, and profitability to achieve financial objectives.
  • Identify project risks, challenges, and opportunities, implementing proactive solutions to minimize impacts.
  • Conduct regular job site visits and project reviews to evaluate progress, quality, safety, and performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, and customer service.
  • Manage change orders, purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and contract compliance requirements.
  • Assist with the procurement and buyout of major equipment, materials, and subcontracted services.
  • Lead project kickoff, progress, coordination, and closeout meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with field supervisors, foremen, and project teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, purchasing agreements, and procurement strategies to maximize value and efficiency.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and organized project documentation and records.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, contracts, change orders, meeting minutes, and project correspondence.
  • Ensure all required permits, inspections, certifications, and closeout documentation are obtained and completed.
  • Document project delays, schedule impacts, and change events to protect company interests and support contract compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, project specifications, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial construction project management experience or 3 years of commercial plumbing experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
  • Strong understanding of construction cost tracking and budgeting
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and project management software
  • Ability to perform standard construction-related calculations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to problem-solver and anticipate challenges
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, direct, and motivate teams
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable
PREFERRED:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous field experience as a Foreman or Superintendent.
  • Experience managing healthcare, industrial, institutional, hospitality, and commercial construction projects.

Compensation
Annual Salary: $85,000+ based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
