Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Client Services Advocate. As a vital member of our family-owned business, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our diverse customer base receives world-class service and assistance throughout their shopping experience. At Grand Appliance, we take pride in our commitment to not only meet but exceed our customers' expectations, ensuring their satisfaction for a lifetime.

Essential Functions

  • Answer inbound telephone requests (or email as directed) for assisting with service, product knowledge, and other related inquiries from customers.
  • Perform outbound calls (Vendors, Service Providers, Grand Appliance stores) as a follow-up to serve the customer needs.
  • Maintain positive demeanor with internal/external customers and assist in resolving various issues or concerns, including prescreening and scheduling service calls.
  • Research service history.
  • Approve return authorizations, issue credits for damage and refunds for canceled orders.
  • Complete all job assignments efficiently and effectively.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to excellence in customer service and satisfaction, ensuring that every customer becomes a lifelong advocate for our brand.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or a degree is a plus.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping customers.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technologically proficient, including experience with POS systems.
  • NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Adept at working independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
