Job description

Advanced Strategies Associate

This position offers a hybrid schedule following successful completion of the introductory period.

The Advanced Strategies Associate assists clients with their insurance, annuity, and 401(k) plan servicing needs by ensuring departmental new business processes and client service needs are delivered promptly and seamlessly.

This role reports directly to the Director of Advanced Strategies and is also overseen by the Advanced Strategies Client Services Manager, with daily interaction with senior executives, internal departments, and our clientele.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with clients and data gathering.
  • Assisting with department sales processes and new business applications.
  • Providing clients with analysis and recommendations for various insurance and annuity needs.
  • Motivation to continuously improve your position and increase your knowledge through certifications, designations, etc.
  • Scheduling and coordinating client meetings.
  • Maintain complete, accurate client account records, ensuring clean data processes are adhered to.
  • Managing multiple tasks with the ability to juggle competing responsibilities through organization and prioritization of work.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Director of Advanced Strategies as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree required.
  • Valid Life & Health Insurance License required.
  • Series 66 and/or Series 7 licensures preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic, job commitment, organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Dedication to providing excellent client service.
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate level proficiency in Word and Excel applications.
  • The ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times when interacting with clients and upper management.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • The ability to anticipate support requirements is a critical skill needed to be successful in this role.
