Our Canadian self-directed division, CG Direct ("CGD"), is currently looking for a detail-oriented candidate with outstanding communication skills. This role requires curiosity, efficiency, prioritization and a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships and problem-solve with clients via phone calls, emails and chats.
  • Understand client needs and provide assistance to their requests for CG Direct;
  • Provide onboarding assistance for new account applications for CG Direct;
  • Contribute to the client service team in the day-to-day operational and administrative tasks;

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluently bilingual in English and French is a must;
  • Relationship/Account management experience in the securities industry is an asset; have or be willing to develop a detailed understanding of how best to support our client services department.
  • Completion of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) is an asset;
  • Completion of the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL) and Futures Licensing Course (FLC) is an asset;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable with crucial conversations;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on teams as well as independently on multiple projects at a time;
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential or sensitive nature;
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications;
  • Experience with financial applications such as Dataphile, or SharePoint applications would be a definite asset.

Competences et qualifications:

  • Parfaitement bilingue en anglais et en francais
  • Posseder de l'experience en gestion des relations et en gestion de comptes dans le secteur des valeurs mobilieres est un atout; vous avez une comprehension approfondie de la meilleure facon de soutenir les services aux clients ou etes dispose a acquerir une telle comprehension;
  • La reussite de l'examen canadien de reglementation des investissements (ECRI) est un atout;
  • La reussite du Cours d'initiation aux produits derives et sur la negociation des options (PDNO) et du Cours sur la negociation des contrats a terme (CNCT) est requise;
  • Posseder d'excellentes competences en resolution de problemes;
  • Avoir de solides competences interpersonnelles; etre a l'aise dans les conversations essentielles;
  • Avoir la capacite eprouvee de travailler efficacement en equipe et de facon independante sur plusieurs projets a la fois;
  • Pouvoir faire preuve de discretion lorsqu'il s'agit de questions de nature confidentielle ou delicate;
  • Maitrise des applications MS Office;
  • Avoir de l'experience dans l'utilisation des applications financieres ainsi que des applications Dataphile ou SharePoint est un atout indeniable.
