As an Investment Advisory Service Associate at National Bank, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the profession of financial planner by acting as an advisor to clients and following financial plans drawn up by a financial planner. This role allows you to develop your understanding of client needs, your advisory skills and your knowledge of financial planning while contributing to portfolio results.

Your role
  • Work closely with your assigned financial planner(s) to help them better support the clients in their portfolios
  • Advise clients, listening actively in order to better meet their investment needs
  • In collaboration with the financial planner, create business development opportunities for clients and contribute to portfolio results
  • Identify business opportunities for partners in both investment and financing
  • Be able to open certain investment accounts and advise the customers on the best strategy to adopt

  • Proficient with IT tools used in investment and comfortable navigating digital tools
  • Ability to rigorously manage several requests at the same time
