Client Service Associate

Our client, a leading independent investment management firm, is seeking an experienced Client Service Associate for a 3+ month contract in New York, NY or Seattle, WA. This role is hybrid, onsite 4 days a week.

Job Summary

The Client Service team partners with the portfolio management team, operations, trading and distribution to provide a best-in-class service experience for all of our clients. We are looking for our next Client Service Associate to support our growing business. Successful candidates will have experience working in a collaborative work environment for a financial services/RIA/Broker Dealer firm and have a passion for delivering outstanding client service.

Your Role

Our client is searching for qualified candidates to join the Americas Client Service team. This role will specifically focus on servicing our Separately Managed Accounts business out of our Seattle office.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
  • Responsible for new account set up, change requests, & processing cash raises across RIA & BD clients
  • Work with client types including direct/retail investors, broker dealer platforms, institutions and advisors
  • Support client communication via team email to provide white-glove service for all channels
  • Answer high level portfolio and strategy related questions
  • Review/respond on reconciliation items (delinked accounts, negative cash accounts, new accounts)
  • Contact custodians for service-related matters and custodian paperwork generation
  • Run client information in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Assist in project execution for team initiatives
  • Ability to work across multiple partners and departments to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Maintain a client centric approach while balancing multiple internal and external requests
Work Experience / Knowledge:
  • 3+ years of directly applicable experience, with experience at an RIA or Broker Dealer
  • Understand separately managed account structure
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork both internally and externally
  • Organized and detail oriented

Pay Rate $43.00 to $45.00 per hour
