Job description

Who You'll Work With:

We are seeking a San Antonio based Client Relationship Associate to join our Client Services Department in Global Technology & Operations.

AllianceBernstein Investor Services Client Services is an inbound call center comprised of teams responsible servicing AllianceBernstein (AB) shareholders, financial advisors and other teams within AB. AllianceBernstein Investor Services (ABIS) is the transfer agent for AB mutual funds distributed through retail intermediaries. The members of this team leverage various desktop tools and proprietary systems to access shareholder account information, process financial transaction and maintenance and perform other functions.

What You'll Do:

  • Answering calls from AB shareholders, investment professionals and internal groups

  • Processing account transactions and updates

  • Performing various forms of account research and reviewing and producing shareholder correspondence

  • Other tasks, project and roles as business needs arise

  • Role is 5 days per week (weekdays) and requires work in office for 4 days per week

What We're Looking For:

  • Knowledge of mutual fund operations is preferred, but not required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • The successful candidate will have strong organization and follow up skills

  • Proficient in the use of office desktop packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to change

  • Ability to work independently, when applicable, and cooperatively in a team setting

  • Candidate must be customer focused and extremely flexible

  • Demonstrate the ability to further develop skills through training and as provided through coaching and feedback

  • Willing to learn new applications as needed based on job requirements and changes that may take place

  • PC proficiency, proven ability to multi-task, excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Knowledge within the financial industry is helpful but not required.
