Job description

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Managing the client relationship and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction related to ongoing delivery of products and services.
  • Plan, execute, direct, and control all facets of assigned projects within the terms of the contract
  • Deliver direct technical support to customers
  • Manage multiple subcontractors
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Ensure contract deliverables are on time and within budget
  • Ensure high-quality work and excellent results
  • Effect growth and maintain a current business base
  • Manages programs which have well defined program plans and delivery methodologies.
  • Leads all phases of assigned program(s) from initiation through delivery.
  • Responsible for decisions that could impact outcomes where erroneous decisions could cause serious schedule delays and expenditure of additional time and resources.
  • Ensuring that all information necessary to the customer is provided in a timely manner
  • Managing supply/demand plans to ensure all deliverables are coordinated to support on time delivery against UEC commitments.
  • Coordinate and deliver quotations to sales organization and/or customers.
  • Ensure execution against contractual requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Experience in the defense industry and government contracts preferred, Minimum 2-4 years of experience and as a Program Manager
  • proven skills to think strategically
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented self-starter
  • Travels as required: 10-15%
  • Client service mindset
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; in a technical or business-related discipline
  • Strong computer skills to include MS Word, Project, and Excel.
  • Solid written/verbal business communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of product pricing, quoting, contracts and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent database management, computer and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to provide leadership and guidance to others.
