The Life Settlement Team at Valmark Financial Group is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative intern to support senior analysts in all aspects of the life settlement transaction process. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an innovative and evolving financial industry, one that helps clients unlock the value of life insurance policies they no longer want or need.

Job Summary:

As a Life Settlements Intern, you will work closely with Case Managers and the Director of Life Settlements on day-to-day operations, research initiatives, and special projects. You'll play an active role in transaction management, client service, and marketing development while gaining valuable insight into financial services industry.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the Life Settlements business line and how it integrates with the firm's broader financial services
  • Provide day-to-day support to Case Managers, including responding to emails, navigating complex insurance carrier processes, and assisting financial advisers with case updates and issue resolution
  • Coordinate complex closing packages and facilitate communication between multiple internal departments and external partners
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by creating, editing, and updating presentations, reports, and marketing materials
  • Participate in research and analysis to support ongoing projects and new business initiatives.
  • Collaborate on special projects designed to advance team goals and improve operational efficiency
