BrightQuest Treatment Centers in San Diego, CA is hiring a Operations Coordinator!

Primary Purpose & Function: 

The Operations Coordinator supports oversight of the day-to-day activities of the program, ensuring that the organization is performing efficiently and effectively in the delivery of quality program services to its clients. This position is responsible for ensuring that the company’s operations and its employees adhere to the licensing requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and state and federal laws in its daily practices. The Operations Coordinator works in collaboration with all company departments to ensure all areas of programming are scheduled cohesively. This position provides audit information to management by researching and analyzing data, preparing reports, conducting risk assessments, and supporting management to enforce corrective action. This role also participates independently and in collaboration with corporate/health system wide activities regarding client safety, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. 

Schedule is Monday - Friday normal business hours. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Partners with the Director ofOperations/Director of Compliance,appointedofficers,and Executive Clinical Director to oversee all compliance and regulatory functions for the facility.
  • Oversees quality assurance of all Joint Commission and state licensing complianceforthe facilities and communicates deficiencies to theappropriate personneland departments.
  • Participates in the monthly Safety and Infection Control Committee meeting.
  • Completes regular review andsupports theupdating of the Policy and Procedure Manual, Training Manuals, and other facility documents in partnership with theChief OperatingOfficer. 
  • In partnership with theDirector of Operations/Director of ComplianceandCOO, implements and enforces policies that will improve day-to-day operations andare in compliance withJoint Commission and state licensing requirements.
  • Reviews and completes all audits and ensuresfollow throughto resolution.
  • Ensuresclient information in EHR is updated ina timelyand correct manner.
  • Performs and communicates results of weekly audits of the EHR, tracking compliance in the following areas: Progress Note, Group Note, and others asdeterminedby the QI Committee.
  • Reviewing programing processes in the field and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Communicateswith staff in relaying concerns and observations involving client safety issues.
  • Collaborate with the Events team to review all planning and logistic details. 
  • Support theDirector of Operations/Director of Complianceinancillary programtracking and relationships with subcontractors. 
  • Participates in onboarding and in-service training of staff related to areas of compliance best practices.
  • Tracks and responds to emails related to managing the staff and client milieu ina timelyfashion.
  • Demonstrategood professionaljudgment and integrity, especially in areas relating to client care, supervision, licensing, and Joint Commission.
  • Fully understand andmaintainpoliciesregardingprofessional ethics, includingappropriate boundariesand client confidentiality; monitor documents according to company and HIPAA policies.
  • Professionally, ethically, and compassionately relates toclients, families, referral sources and staffat all times.

Qualifications: 

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED isrequired;Bachelor Degree in Psychology, Social Work, orotherHealth Related Field preferred.
  • Specific,required, current, and active licensure, registration, and/or certification must bemaintainedin good standing.
  • Twoyearsof experiencein related fieldpreferred.
  • Ability to implement and enforce program guidelines, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of record keeping, documenting, and filing.
  • Strong tracking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with multiple teams andmaintainingaccountability for performance and regulatory compliance. 
  • Experience and participation in inspections, audits, and/or surveys from The Joint Commission, Community Care Licensing, and the Department of Health Care Services is preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills and ability to use various software programs.
  • First Aid/CPR certified.
  • Have a valid driver’s license in good standing and auto insurance.
  • Successfully complete comprehensive background check(including criminal record clearance), MVR screen, and drug screen.
  • Successfully completerequiredhealth screening, including a current and valid TB clearance.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends, and adapt schedule as needed.
