What is the opportunity?

Support the strategic activation and delivery of RBC Capital Markets' brand partnerships through exceptional client events and experiences across our key markets in Canada, reporting to the Head of Canadian Brand and Sponsorship Marketing with a dotted-line relationship to the Director, Brand and Wealth Management Marketing. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in bringing RBC's premier sponsorship portfolio to life and delivering memorable client experiences that strengthen our market position and brand presence across Canada.

What will you do?

  • Working closely with the Head of Canadian Brand and Sponsorship Marketing, you will manage the operational and logistical delivery of events and client experiences that activate our key Canadian brand partnerships.
  • You will coordinate with internal stakeholders across Capital Markets businesses and RBC enterprise partners to ensure seamless execution of client experiences that reflect RBC's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities will include activities such as:

  • Manage events and client hosting details related to our key Canadian brand sponsorships, across several key sponsorship platforms and initiatives, including TIFF, Race for the Kids, Olympics, Golf, and Music.
  • Support our Canadian golf portfolio, including the RBC Canadian Open, Ladies Day, and Rogers Charity Classic, helping to manage event logistics and ticket distribution
  • Coordinate ticket distribution and client experiences for RBC Amphitheatre and other music-related opportunities
  • Manage gala sponsorships, including table coordination and sponsorship execution to ensure priority clients are engaged and hosted appropriately
  • Support the conference and events team on larger-scale internal events including Culture Day and Charity Day as needed
  • Track and report on activation performance and event impact, including metrics such as client attendance, engagement, and business outcomes to inform future partnership strategies

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5 years of experience in event activation, experiential marketing, or client hospitality
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the investment banking or financial services industry
  • Experience with event management platforms or sponsorship tracking systems
  • Agency and vendor management experience

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$80,000.00 - $115,000.00
