Overview:
Our KJH Investors Private Wealth team, is seeking a detail-oriented Private Client Associate to work closely with a Portfolio Management Team, including three Portfolio Managers, in all aspects of managing high-net-worth client relationships. This role combines investment support, client service, and operational execution. The ideal candidate brings a client-first mindset, and a high degree of professionalism in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Managers to support all aspects of client relationship management
  • Prepare and maintain client-facing materials, including presentations, portfolio reviews, and business updates
  • Follow up on client meetings and manage ad hoc client requests
  • Assist with projects related to investment strategy and client wealth management
  • Coordinate the onboarding and maintenance of client accounts, including documentation, transfers, and compliance updates
  • Process account transactions such as wire transfers, cheque requests, contributions, and disbursements
  • Execute trades
  • Coordinate the preparation, review and distribution of quarterly portfolio reports
  • Compile, review and distribute annual tax packages
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information across CRM and portfolio management systems
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of all client reporting
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless execution and compliance adherence
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a private client, wealth management, or investment advisory environment
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSCยฎ) is an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Outlook, and CRM systems
  • Experience with portfolio management and reporting platforms such as d1g1t; familiarity with custodial platforms like NBIN (National Bank Independent Network)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized, analytical, and solutions-oriented
  • Collaborative team player with a high degree of initiative and accountability
Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
