Job description

We are looking for an Operations Associate to join our team and support our organization by managing the day-to-day tasks and administrative needs of our business operations. As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for completing various administrative tasks and enforcing the organization's policies and standards. Ultimately, you will work with various departments across the organization to ensure all administrative and operational tasks are completed as needed, with a focus on setting up new accounts for investment.

This position is hybrid, based in Dallas, TX, and requires working onsite 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Manager in daily management, coordinating activities and priorities.
  • Support the Operations Manager with the enforcement of company policies and standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining records, and setting up new investment accounts.
  • Manage and maintain broker-dealer custodial account software, such as Schwab Advisor Center, Fidelity Wealthscape, and others.
  • Monitor and update CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain schedules of operations and ensure adherence to deadlines, including billing client accounts.
  • Cooperate with different departments to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as an Operations Associate, Operations Specialist, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, broker-dealer custodial account software, and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of investment account setup and management is preferred.
  • Relevant education and/or certifications in the Financial Services field is preferred.

Compensation: The base hourly range for this role is $28.85 - $36.05.  Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
