The Client Manager is responsible for supporting the daily management of the overall Group's clients and has direct oversight over a portfolio of those clients. The Client Manager will be responsible for cross-selling to the Group's existing ones. Product responsibility will include deposit products, cash management, and credit. The Client Manager will provide tactical support to the Banking Group Head in the form of supporting calling efforts, closing credit facilities, providing operational support, onboarding new clients, liaising with Credit and Operations, and performing due diligence.
Responsibilities:
  • Support daily client management where the standard is the best client experience in the industry
  • Expand team's portfolio of middle market, real estate, commercial and high net worth clients by delivering white glove service and uncovering cross-sell opportunities
  • Provide operational and systems help
  • Lead product demonstrations and implementation
  • Onboard new clients and spearhead KYC/Compliance activities
  • Manage team pipelines and assist in marketing/networking events
  • Liaise with the Compliance, Operations, Credit and other internal teams

What Do You Need?
  • 10+ years of relevant banking experience
  • Client management experience in a commercial, business banking, real estate, or private banking background
  • Self-starter capable of working under limited direct supervision
  • Results-driven persona
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong foundational knowledge of banking and credit products
  • Team player willing to go to lengths to provide best possible client experience
  • Familiarity with core commercial banking cash management, deposit, and credit products
  • Knowledge of escrow, deposit account control agreements, systems integrations via SFTP/API/direct ERP connections, and standby letters of credit a plus
  • Willingness to embrace A.I. tools and integrate them in daily responsibilities

Technology Skills:
  • Ability to work with the Microsoft Suite and learn/work with other Customers Bank's applications.
  • Salesforce & Adobe knowledge preferred
