About the Role 

The Supervisor of Client Service is a true player-coach who leads the team while actively working alongside them to deliver an exceptional client experience. This role blends hands-on client service with coaching, training, and elevating team performance, ensuring smooth operations and strong cross-department collaboration. By modeling best practices, guiding day-to-day execution, and fostering clear communication, the Supervisor strengthens the team, drives goals forward, and enhances the firm's overall success.  


Key Responsibilities 

  • Elevate Client Service Experience: Provide expert guidance, coaching, and development to the Client Service team. 
  • Optimize Team Performance: Oversee employee development through coaching, evaluating performance, and managing overall team dynamics to optimize productivity and morale. 
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Proactively identify opportunities for the team to be enhanced, new offerings/processes, and troubleshooting. 
  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain high standards of compliance and operational efficiency, owning deadlines and assisting others with theirs. 
  • Process Development & Coordination: Coordinate training and training materials, facilitate escalation and problem-solving, and lead projects and team initiatives. 
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Understand interdepartmental connections and downstream impact, fostering strong collaboration with other team leaders to impact team members and enhance performance/relationships. 
  • Communication & Leadership: Exhibit a high level of communication competency with internal and external groups, structure complex communication messages, influence others to achieve team goals, and coach/mentor others within the immediate team. 
  • Talent Management: Have HR/personnel responsibilities including assisting with growth plans, training, goal setting, and individual team growth plans for direct reports. 
  • Accountability: Personal responsibility for overdue tasks at or below team average; responsible for the successful execution of the Client Service Management function for assigned direct reports in all facets of the role, including all HR functions (e.g., attendance, communication, team collaboration, and attitude/morale).
