Job Title: Intake Coordinator

Location: This is an onsite position in Cumming, GA and possibly 1 day/week in Alpharetta, GA

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Employment Type: W2, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Schedule:  Monday-Friday 8a-5p or 9a-6p 


We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Intake Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in the operation of our practice, with a focus on administrative tasks. Experience with Advanced MD or similar EHR is required. Experience with SalesForce a plus. 


Job Summary:

As an Intake Coordinator, you will be a crucial part of the business's administrative and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, from clerical duties to providing support to various departments. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere will contribute to the organization's success.


Responsibilities:

  • Screen incoming calls and emails, providing information and scheduling appointments for new clients. 
  • Support with Insurance authorizations and verification of benefits. 
  • Manage appointment calendars and ensure efficient scheduling of client sessions. 
  • Coordinate with therapists and clients to confirm appointments and manage cancellations or rescheduling requests. 
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations. 
  • Manage medical records including scanning/archiving charts. 
  • Generate new referral partnerships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and businesses to expand our network and increase client referrals. 
  • Other duties as assigned
Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour; paid bi-weekly

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a mental health setting or healthcare administration is highly desirable. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and professionals from diverse backgrounds.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Flexibility to work at our Alpharetta and Cumming locations based on business need
