Job description

Launch Your Career in the Legal Profession

No Legal Experience Required • Paid Training • Bonuses & Commissions • Career Advancement

Looking for more than "just another office job"?

Do you enjoy talking with people, staying organized, and making a great first impression?

Have you ever thought about building a career in the legal profession?

If so, we'd love to meet you.

Our Alpharetta Law Firm is looking for an energetic, intelligent, and personable Administrative Assistant / Client Intake Coordinator to become an important part of our growing team.

This is a unique opportunity because you'll wear several hats. You'll be one of the first people prospective clients speak with when they contact our firm. You'll listen to their situation, answer questions, make them feel comfortable, and help guide them through the hiring process. Your ability to build trust and create an outstanding client experience will play an important role in the continued growth of our firm.

At the same time, you'll work directly with our attorneys and legal staff, learning how a successful law firm operates from the inside. As your knowledge and experience grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility handling legal matters, with the opportunity to develop into an experienced paralegal.

No legal experience is required. We will teach you the legal side. What we're looking for is someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the desire to build a long-term career.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, performance bonuses, and commissions.

What You'll Do

Client Intake & New Client Experience

  • Be the friendly first impression of our law firm.
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective clients seeking legal help.
  • Listen carefully, build rapport, answer questions, and help prospective clients feel comfortable choosing our firm.
  • Follow up with prospective clients and help guide them through the hiring process.
  • Schedule consultations for our attorneys.
  • Earn bonuses and commissions by helping convert qualified leads into new clients.
  • No cold calling. No high-pressure sales. People are calling us because they need our help.

Legal & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with active legal matters.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain legal files.
  • Draft correspondence and legal documents.
  • Communicate with courts, clients, opposing parties, and vendors.
  • Help manage deadlines and case progression.
  • Assist with office administration and special projects.
  • Help with marketing initiatives, online reviews, client appreciation programs, and referral relationships.
  • Continue learning legal procedures while taking on increasing responsibility.

Who We're Looking For:

You might be the perfect fit if you...

  • Love talking with people.
  • Are naturally organized and detail-oriented.
  • Communicate professionally and confidently.
  • Enjoy helping people make important decisions.
  • Learn quickly and embrace new technology.
  • Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Want to build a long-term career—not simply find another job.
  • Are excited about learning the legal profession.

Experience That Helps (But Isn't Required)

  • Administrative Assistant
  • Receptionist
  • Customer Service
  • Client Relations
  • Medical or Dental Front Office
  • Banking
  • Hospitality
  • Retail Management
  • Sales Support
  • Office Administration
  • Recent College Graduate with strong customer service experience
