Job description

Where you'll be working:

Location(s): Tucson, AZ

Setting: Center-Based

Population Served: Children ages 2–6

Years in Operation: Founded in 2021

What You'll Actually Be Doing (aka no surprises later):

  • Coach and mentor up to 4 Case Supervisors (practicum/fieldwork students) through hands-on supervision, structured feedback, and real-time clinical coaching focused on BCBA exam preparation and role readiness
  • Provide weekly billable supervision hours focused on Case Supervisor coaching and development for the clients on their caseload
  • Hold a small caseload of clients as needed, designing and implementing individualized, naturalistic ABA for children ages 2–6 in a center-based setting
  • Use ESDM-informed strategies (training provided; ESDM experience not required) and work toward ESDM certification within 2 years
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team (SLP, OT, psychology, developmental pediatrics) on assessments and integrated treatment plans
  • Assist the Clinical Trainer in organizing and hosting quarterly, center-level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs

Caseload & Support Transparency (because details matter):

Caseload size: 7–9 clients per BCBA (this is a leadership role — caseload is secondary to coaching up to 4 Case Supervisors)

Billable hour expectations: 28.75 or 30 hours per week

Support Structure:

  • Center Operations Director (COD) and Clinical Director available for support and mentorship; bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with both
  • Weekly Multidisciplinary Care Meetings to address clinical barriers with the full management team
  • Clinical Directors can overlap with client and BCBA or directly with the client as needed
  • Specialized admin teams handle intake, billing, scheduling, and non-clinical RBT oversight so BCBAs focus on clinical work and coaching
  • Integrated OT and SLP colleagues at each center for collaborative care from assessment to discharge

Compensation & Perks (real ones):

Base salary: $100,500–$105,000/year

Bonus structure:

  • Annual performance bonus potential up to $5,000
  • Additional compensation for achieving clinical certifications
  • Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 based on start date and location

PTO: 15 additional days off

Health benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability covered by Company

Paid Holidays: 11 company holidays

CEU support:

  • Annual $500 CEU stipend
  • 1 dedicated PTO day for continuing education
  • Free monthly CEU webinars
  • Growing ESDM-based CEU library
  • State ABA organization membership (e.g., AzABA)
  • ESDM certification costs covered by Company

Supervision/mentorship provided:

  • Bi-weekly 1:1s with COD and Clinical Director
  • Weekly multidisciplinary case meetings
  • Clinical Director overlap support available
  • No billing-tied supervision

Schedule flexibility / remote options: Hybrid — 1 work-from-home day per week; 8am–5pm Monday–Friday

Additional perks:

  • 401k with company contribution
  • Tuition/student loan reimbursement
  • Monthly staff events (sports games, mystery nights, arcade nights, karaoke, trivia) organized by a dedicated RBT event planner
  • Monthly staff appreciation lunches
  • Clinical of the Quarter, RBT of the Month, and monthly core value awards
  • Multiple clinical growth paths including center/regional leadership and specialized roles
  • Company laptop provided; materials budget available

If it's listed here, it's real.

Why This Is a Green-Flag Clinic

This organization meets our standards in:

  • Top-of-market compensation with meaningful sign-on and performance bonus structure
  • Genuine interdisciplinary care model — OT, SLP, and ABA working together from day one
  • Robust clinical support structure with no billing-tied supervision
  • Strong investment in clinician growth through ESDM training, certification coverage, and clear leadership pathways
  • Culture of recognition and engagement that goes beyond words — monthly events, awards, and appreciation built into operations

We don't certify everyone, and we definitely don't promote clinics we wouldn't work at ourselves.

You'd Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Are a credentialed BCBA
  • Care deeply about ethical, high-quality ABA
  • Are excited to mentor and develop the next generation of BCBAs — not
  • just manage a caseload
  • Thrive in a play-based, naturalistic, ESDM-informed clinical model
  • Want to work within a true interdisciplinary team alongside SLPs and OTs
  • Value a clinic that invests in your growth and actually shows up for its staff
